WiN Shark Tank - The next big idea!
This is Willamette Innovator Network’s biggest networking event of the year. Come and network your fin off while enjoying local food and drink.
April 7, 2020
Show your support for start-ups and entrepreneurs in the Willamette Valley
The annual WiN Shark Tank is held at the historic Majestic Theater in Corvallis. In 2019, over 100 people attended and watched as La Familia Cider from Salem won the competition. It wasn’t easy, as there were six great startups and the judges - all angel investors - asked competitors hard questions.
The Shark Tank winner will automatically be accepted as a Launch Stage Company to present at the Willamette Angel Conference, an angel investment conference which invests over half a million dollars each year in growth stage companies. The winning pitch will be given two coaching sessions before their presentation at the conference.
Come watch local entrepreneurs swim to survive
At the Shark Tank, you’ll hear great business pitches from local startups looking to make it big and listen to the feedback they get from our expert panel of judges. Judges will be prepared with questions for the candidates and looking for the one that impresses them the most based on their business idea, model, and ability to scale-up.
On site will be investors, business owners, economic development officers, the OSU Advantage Accelerator team, entrepreneurs, innovators, and more. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with a start-up idea or one in the early stages of development to network and connect with local resources.
Use your “WiN SharkBucks” to “invest” in your favorite idea and help the people behind it to win the People’s Choice Award!

“A brilliant idea doesn’t guarantee a successful invention. Real magic comes from a brilliant idea combined with willpower, tenacity, and a willingness to make mistakes.”
