Creative Corvallis is Calling all Artisans and Builders

September's Creative Corvallis Meetup is for the Artisans and Builders in our community. We'll work on identifying the interests and needs of an artistic "MakerSpace."Who should attend? If you make or want to learn to make creative products for hobby or sales, you should attend. If you're interested in shared space, shared tools, and shared knowledge get involved. What's a "Creative Product?" Ceramics, screen printing, small woodworking, fiber arts, jewelry and metal smithing, metal casting, and more. "Maybe I could sell this on Etsy or on Main Street?"Who shouldn't attend? This time around we won't be talking about big woodworking, welding, or 3-D printing nor computers, science, or hacking. It's not for food or beverage and shared commercial kitchen space. If you're interested in one of those areas, We'll have upcoming meetings about each area and how to best create spaces, or 1 giant space, over the next few months. What's the format? This is a working session. We'll do brief introductions and the split into groups to identify what resources might be needed. We won't leave until we have a realistic wish-list of equipment and a rough floor-plan. We'll schedule our next meeting, create an action plan, and hand out assignments. We're going to get stuff done.Light snacks and drinks will be served. Tickets  These events are FREE but please pre-register so we have an estimate of how many people to set up for.
